Let the festivities begin...

I am so excited!  My big party is TOMORROW!  My bua and Foofs and bhaisahib and bhayia are all here to help start the celebrations!!!  We've been to the zoo, we've been out for dinner, we've hung out... all good fun!

Mystery solved!

Now I know who started the rumor!!! (Look at me here I am so innocent!!)

  And my revenge is I am going to give HIM a new middle name!!!  From now on my brother is going to be Kishan Alexander instead of Kishan Siddarth!!  Why Alexander?  Why not!  It's a good middle name!

Rumor control

So there is a nasty rumor going around, propogated by I don't know who, that my middle name is Grace...  Whu--?!?!  Kalyani Grace???  News to me!!!  My middle name is Vidya.. like the goddess of knowledge!! Grace!?!? What-evA!  I mean it's a nice enough name and all but not mine....

10 days to go 'till the party of the century!!

You are going to party like it was 1999!  That's what old people say!  1999 is so last century!!!

I had to report this just in case anyone ws NOT excited...  It's going to be my Super Sweet ONE!!!

PARTY UPDATE!!

The Menu is set!  To go along with the genie - I dream of Kalyani theme, I decided to go with Mediterranean food!  The plan is for Tabouleh, Falafel, Chiken, Pita, Tzaziki, Hummus & Spanakopita!  I'll have Mac n Cheese for the not-so-adventurous types!  Thanks to my mom and my Rita bua for cooking some of the items!  

Bathing suit season is here!

The sun is out!  That means sprinklers are on in our garden!  I've been waiting all year to break out my latest bathing suits!  BY the way, I don't care WHAT MIss California says... my bathing suit stayed on, even with lots of splashing around!!!

Walking on sunshine!

I'm walking!!!  It's qute exciting!  I started with just a few small steps but now I can zoom a whole 6 or 7 steps!  I also learned a few new things: 1- instead of eating stuff I find on the floor,I give it to my dad; 2- If my dad says No to me, I look him square in the face, and cry!; 3- When my dad tells me I can't do something, I HAVE to try it again!!  When will he learn???

16 days 'till my party!!!!

My AZ Midday appearance!

My TV debut finally aired!!  I was on AZ Midday today as the happily playing baby... that was a long time ago, back when I wasn't even one!  I wonder what my next appearance wil be....

Happy Mother's Day! What a difference a year makes...

Amazing how things are different!  Last year on Mother's day I was snuggling with my amma and again this year I was in the same place!!  Amma is good for hugs!  I love her.

I can't believe my life is changing so fast!  Not only am I almost mastering to walk but suddenly I am going to be going from Amy's bua's house out into the real world of daycare at my brother's school!  Apparently they already like me because they made special accomodations.. or maybe they just know it's me! :) 

I better work on my "I want to get my way" crying now....

My TV date is set!

It seems that I have actually been on TV a few times without even knowing it!  Yesterday AZ Midday used my footage in a commercial and also to introduce my papa!

So my resume is now:

I'm ONE!!

Today is my FIRST Birthday!  What a day!  I went to the temple then later had familia come over for cake.  I got to smash my own baby cake!  It was fun!  So this is what birthdays are all about!  But NOW onto my big PARTY on the 30th!!  I am so glad my parents didn't give me my big gift today because I'm supposed to get it at my party and they would ruin everything if they gave it to me today...

Finding a DRESS! VEGAS baby!

I had this grand idea to go to Las Vegas and by my dress for my grand entrance at my party!  Well we didn't find ANYTHING!!!!  Now what am I going to do????  I am going to have to cancel the party... unless someone comes to my rescue!  Rita bua??  Ammamma???  Peddama?  Amy Bua?  Marlene bua?  Yia yia bua?  Someone HELP!!!!

BY the way... I almost got the whole party cancelled for alleged swearing.. but I was just pointing out the HOOVER DAM!!!
